In autumn 2023, the Swiss outdoor company Transa commissioned me to create a photo reportage in Sweden’s Sarek Nationalpark for their long-distance hiking campaign. Located about 60 km north of the Arctic Circle, Sarek is a remote nature reserve with no huts, no marked trails, and only a single bridge. With backpacks weighing 25 kg, packed with outdoor gear and food, we spent two weeks trekking through the untamed wilderness of Lapland.
