ABOUT

Photos of patterns, shapes, residues and abrasions found in the streets of Zürich served as inspiration for a pictorial reinterpretation using the monotype technique. The slow and sometimes random working method of this printing technique reflects the processes through which the photographed traces were created in the first place. The monotype prints were scanned and turned into a poster series using the helvetica typeface and the text «In der Stadt» by Franz Hohler. The result is an A3 magazine with 12 posters.
